An old right leg injury with lots of scar tissue in the femur would bother me occasionally since the attack. But last December 2009, pain appeared with aggression and remained persistent. My walking became impaired and climbing stairs was impossible. During many visits to my medical doctor I received the diagnosis – Iliotibial Band Strain – the treatment was to buy Voltaren and to apply daily. The treatment was ineffective and the condition did not improve. Many months later the pain changed to the gluteus maximus area and it was suspected to be sciatica or perhaps a lower back disorder. For many years, I have had back pains, strained and tense lower back muscles (scoliosis), and continuous spasms.
